Question about VMware Certified Professional certification

I thinking about getting this one.. How tough is the test from other certifications.

I guess it depends how much you work with it, the only person I know who has it said it was nails, and he has done maybe 18 other exams. -

dales Member Posts: 225The exam is not that hard, but of course it depends on how much you have worked with the product. The exam was not like MS exams however, sometimes technical things are not tested. Without going into the NDA I cant really say more.
The big hill you need to get over first mind you is the rather pricey pre-req course.Kind Regards

scott28tt Member Posts: 686 ■■■■■□□□□□I've done 20+ MS exams and 3 VCP exams now, and I personally found the VCP exams easier as the question/answer format is very simple - you either know the answers or you don't.
That's not to say it's easy, VMware expect you to know a lot of things, and a lot of what you need to know is very specific. They do publish an exam blueprint which tells you what you get tested on.
As others have said you will have to attend an official vSphere training course to achieve the VCP4, as well as passing the exam.
