Cvoice - 642-432

Hi Guys,
I have done some searching but I cannot find anything approriate to my circumstance.
I have been away for a while but I am glad to see the forum is still alive and kicking.
I have finally decided to get my CCVP after being distracted by the CCNA Security.
My question is, I have my CVOICE 642-432 and my CCNA do I have to sit the CCNA voice or the CVOICE 642-436 to obtain my CCNA or just the 642-446 CIPT1, 642-642 QoS, 642-456 CIPT2 and 642-426 TUC.

According to cisco, you already have your CCNA:V so all you need to do is the other pro levels.

How? He did the old CVOICE, not the new CVOICE.

The old CVOICE may still count as CVOICE for the CCVP, but you may be missing some of the gateway & gatekeeper knowledge that's moved into that new CVOICE.

If you're looking at targeting Enterprise Voice, then it's probably best to just bite the bullet and do the new CVOICE to earn the CCNA:Voice prerequisite.

hate to grave dig but it turns out yes this cvoice will count towards my ccvp just an FYI for the future.

It will count toward CCVP maybe, but you will still need to either take the CCNA Voice exam, or the new CVOICE exam since the CCNA Voice cert is a prerequisite to the CCVP.




That is of course unless you have a CCIE :P
