Cabling for Terminal Access Servers
I got a 2511 router, the one that doesn't use the octal cabling.
Lots of conflicting info out on the web as to which cables to use. A few sites claimed you just use straight-through cables, but that's not true.
I can confirm that you definitely need RJ45 to RJ45 rollover cables.
These go for $6-10 each so go for the octal model if you are looking for one of these - unless you make your own cables.
If you make your own cables, just reverse the pinouts. 1 to 8, 2 to 7, 3 to 6, 4 to 5
