Policy route map
Hey I have a problem first.
Okay many of our client software applications here are using a certain ip address say 192.168.1.99
all of them are pointing this this ip.
However we have a DRC backup test we are going to perform soon.
which means I have to change the IP address on 100 plus PCs on the fly.
NOT!
I have my own scripting solutions but cant
I config either a dns config or some kind of policy route mapping to
say anyyone wanted to go to 192.168.1.99 go to this ip instead
kind of like on the routers or thru dns just a thought.
and then turn it off once we are backup and running locally again back to the old ip.
I mean I know there has to be a way to do this. just I have semi knowledge and maybe you guys have done this. I want to be able to turn it on and then turn it off what on the L3 switches we have?

jason_lunde Member Posts: 567man, i dont really get everything your saying... Is that IP like a server that the clients programs are pointing at and your changing the server ip for the DRC backup test, or are you just needing to reroute traffic?
