HREAP access points
I know that these AP's can carry on working if they are cut of from there WLC. But what happens when the WLC is avalible?
with a standard controller based AP, all data traffic is tunnelled over LWACP or CAPWAP link to the WLC.
Now with a HREAP the WLC may be across the wan link? I assume in this case the HREAP deals with data traffic and can switch it on tt the local LAN with out passing it across the WAN link to the WLC?
