Anyone monitored Dell PERC RAID controllers with OpenNMS?

I'll be trying to get this to work shortly. The documentation seems less than stellar on this. Anyone tried this or had any luck getting it to work?

I love it when product setup guides say "Be sure that this is set up correctly" and then don't tell you how to do so.

All I can say is good luck. I banged my head against opennms for a while but then the project went on the back burner. I'll get back to it one of these days if I'm ever allowed the time. It definitely gave me a headache.

I honestly hate the software. I already have a disdain for most FOSS but OpenNMS takes the cake on lack of documentation, way over complicated input to get even basic functions to work, and just plain jackass behavior (outage paths never work so i get 100 emails instead of 1, etc)
