Performing Telnet to Cisco AP1232AG-A-K9
darylh
Sorry for the intrustion. I've been to the Cisco site with no luck.
I'm trying to telnet my Cisco AP1232AG-A-K9 using Indigo and a cisco console cable. I can't initiate a session to reach the config page for some reason and don't properly understand the connection process to see where I'm making my mistake.
The router's default IP was set by Cisco as 10.0.0.1 and when I try to establish session, a message states no response. I'm nearly certain that I don't have the telnet set up correctly and not using the proper telnet command but I'm not educated in this field whatsoever, so I'm looking for any help offered.
Any ideas or has anyone here programmed these APs before and can tell me precisely how to reach config from telnet?
thanks!

If you are using a console cable, you won't be able to telnet. Console cables do not carry network traffic, only serial data.
