Is FTP 7 on the 70-643 test?

I was reviewing IIS today and noticed an exam tip in the MS Press Training kit book which said that FTP 7 may be on the test. Anyone who has taken this test do you know if I should check out FTP 7 for the exam.

It would be worth taking a short look at.
The default in Server 2008 is that FTP is still managed by an IIS6 console, but you can download and install a newer IIS7 console to manage FTP with. -

I agree. Cover both and you should be fine. From memory i dont remember ftp 7 specific questions when i did the exam but i did the exam last year so they may have updated things -

I've been trying to find out what is new to FTP 7 but none of the technet articles seems to just give me that.I've got it installed and have worked with it some so hopefully that will be enough.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

Funny thing is....as many Server 2008 installs as i've seen with FTP sites, i have never once seen one that had the FTP7 admin console installed. lol

You have to download it seperately. FTP 7 is designed for Vista and Server 2008 and FTP 7.5 for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2.
FTP 7 must not have been ready when they shipped Server 2008 so they left it as a seperate install.You download it from www.iis.net/downloadsNo longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -

Yeah, but you would think people would update to that. Even installs of 08 done this year i've never seen FTP 7 installed on any of them.

From what I could tell from that article above it's not a whole lot different and most people probably don't know to get FTP 7.
Kind of weird though that no one has it. Hopefully the test will have something about it as it'll help my score.

Picking the hard test to break 800?
I think I made a ~780 on the 643. I scored in the 800s on 642 and like 925 or 930 on 640. -

Yeah but I'd be just as happy scoring a 700 again.
Wanting to score higher and learn the material better is why I've taken so long with this test. Also the IIS material is so dry that each chapter took days to read and every practice test I take I seem to get something else that I don't know yet. I'm working through the measure up included with the book and Transcender so I have a lot of practice questions. I also did the Examfarce that my mentor requires which was a joke as I made it through the whole test bank before I was done reading the book.No longer work in IT.
