Multiple WAN interface static NAT

in CCNA & CCENT
Not sure where this should go, please forgive me if this is incorrect.
I have 2 WAN connections in front of an ASA. We'll call them A and B. A is what is normally used. It fails over to B when A goes down, but the static rules tied to A do not automatically switch. Is there a way to make the static NAT also change? Would just adding in another set of NAT rules be OK? I feel like it wouldn't but...
Any insight is helpful.
