2 questions on Linux +

Hello,

Looking to learn Linux + and was wondering which version of Linux I should use if it matters. I have limited experience with Mint, Fedora, and Ubuntu and just wanted y'all thoughts. Also which book would you suggest? I do not have the cash for the video training so looking at the book route.
