Server Consolidation Question
Sup fellas,
Need some input from the seasoned admins....
One of our company has 4 offices with about 10 users each. They all have WinXP machines and access a SQL2000/2005 based Escrow Transaction program installed on Win2003 servers at each site. The server also provides AD, Shares, Print Server backup server and of course SQL etc.
So 4 separate servers for 4 sites for about 40 users.
We were thinking about setting up a single virtualized/consolidated system and have the users RDP to the server to access the Escrow program. Of course they still use their OWN workstations for Email and Web etc.
The thought was to set up 4 Servers with tons of storage. 2 will be the AD/DNS/RDP and Backup while 2 will be the SQL/Backup SQL.
Any ideas on the best deployment options here?
Input is appreciated!

We find that a single T1 with a VPN tunnel between the offices is fine. The beginning of knowledge is understanding how little you actually know.
