Is an NTU basically the same as a CSU/DSU?

    I think NTU is a fairly generic term for telco to customer demarc.

    When I've installed NTU's they go at the far end of an ISDN line and you have two NTU's that support one digital centrex telephone each (they also have ones that work for two POTS lines as well).

    Regarding your reference to a CSU/DSU I suppose they are the termination point for a ISDN line like a CSU/DSU is the termination point for a T1.
