unix/linux/mac questions
infamous
quick question for you guys...
for those that have written the N+ exam, typically how many unix/linux/mac questions are there on the exam? are these questions in-depth as well or are they just general questions regarding those OSs?
TIA!

As far as my exam went I had a few questions on Appletalk and SAMBA, but other than that there wasn't much else. Just make sure you know what ifconfig is relating to Linux and you should be fine.

not specific questions on it. but 1 relates mac, 2 relates linux.
onlything you need to know is what protocol apple use and ifconfig like Tekniques says.

I had only one Mac related question, one unix related, that's all. Both were very easy, straight-forward.

thanks for the replies! I was expecting some in-depth questions being on the exam, but if it's straight forward stuff like what you guys said then I should be ok.
cheers

I took the Beta test and there were 2 appletalk questions, while several questions had Linux commands as choices for answers.
