I.O sys, MSDOS.sys and command.com are the startup files you would find on a boot up disk but the start-up order is I.O.sys, MSDOS.sys and Config.sys. Has this caught out anyone else in the prep tests?

config.sys is not mandatory to boot. it loads optional devices.

since it's optional that is probaby why it's not found.

I'm not 100% sure but I think all the boot up disk are 100% identical.

the items you found in config.sys different from machine to machine.
