I studied for over a month. Using Labsim and Mike Myers book I thought I was ready. I got 85 to 90% on all the practice test I could find. But after I started the test I was like WTF. Without discussing specific details I will say there was a lot more questions on PoE than I was expecting. There was nothing on IPv6 or subnetting. But in the end I got 840 and passed. I know have the trifecta - A+, Network+ and Security+.

    ongrats on the new cert!
That's actually a pretty good score. I always feel like there is the chance I'll fail a cert exam while I'm taking it as they always throw a few curveballs.
No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.
