Exam 70-270

Hello

Can you advise if the current XP exam has question relating to server 2003. I have been preparing this exam for a few weeks but the books i'm using are older and refer only to 2000.

I'm quite happy with W2K and AD but don't have much knowlwedge of 2003 yet.

is it likely to be better to study 290 for a while before sitting 270?

Thanks.

I think the questions on 70-270 are general enough to apply to server 2000 & 2003. I can't imagine 2003 specific questions being on 70-270, but I may be wrong.

I dont recall any questions that refer directly to a specific Server OS.
They should all generally be questions to do with the client end of things. So it could be any kind of server on the other end.

no, you wont get any specific 2003 questions (that is what the 290 series is for).

270 is a client for both 2000 and 2003. Just know when you would need to apply a group policy and you should be fine.
I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.

Why are you going to make this exam. You got 70-210 allready.

If you want to become MCSA 2k3:
You need to make your MCSA 2k. When you are done you simply do an upgrade from MCSA 2k TO MCSA 2k3 ( 70-292 )

Need to do XP as wer'e rolling it out at work along with 2003. I'll only get funding from my company for these exams.

That makes sense. I would pursue as many as you could if they're paying for it.
