What is teh difference between Foundation and foundation bridge v3

I recently cleared PMP, have been working in the IT for over 15 years.

Now planning on getting ITIL certification, with the help of the tech exams forums received a lot of helpful info.

I need to finish first the V3 Foundation and then to intermediate.

Now in V3 Foundation i am also seeing V3 Foundation bridge.

What is the difference between foundation and foundation bridge.

Hi,

The Foundation is for people who are brand new to ITIL.

The Foundation Bridge is for people with an existing V2 ITIL Foundation - to allow them to get their skillset up to date and will be withdrawn at the end of this year.

Foundation tests the full Foundation syllabus and is 40 questions.

Foundation bridge is 20 questions, and tests only the delta from v2 and v3.
