OMG vpn client how to anyone?

hey guys,
I have a pcf file from work vpn router.
is it rocket science just to get it to work with vpn client software.
what cisco vpn client software do i use where to get it? and man is it t hat hard.
all I thought i had to do was this:
1. import pcf file
2. enter in ip or dns name of vpn node
3. enter in password and user name
4. bam vpn tunnel established?
butu the cisco vpn client i have ver 5.0.04.0300 cannot figure it out?
man am i dumb or what??? help

docrice Member Posts: 1,706 ■■■■■■■■■■Copy your PCF file under %ProgramFiles%\Cisco VPN Client\Profiles. This profile should already be pre-configured with the location of the VPN gateway(s) as well as group credentials, etc.. All you have to do is provide the user-level credentials once you hit Connect.Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/
