Sata raid question
hey i think I am right but haven't done it in a while.
say for example I had a raid drive die in a raid 5 set of 3 drives.
and I could not find the required 160 GB seagate sata drive that they
originally used? now what? can I buy say a 300 GB sata drive say western digital and pop it in. I know it should only size the same size as the other raid
drives even thought it is 300 GB or more it will only use say 150GB of
the drive it the other raid drives are sized to that size right? but
I can use any model of sata drive and size right???
