Chapter 5 Lab

The lab is telling me to create a directory named ipsdir. Since I don't have the mkdir command, I decided to do a erase flash, but I was unable to format it with class A or C.

I am just wondering if the lab will still work by just putting the IPS file in the root directory instead of the ipsdir directory? I'm not familiar with how to do this lab, but I'm guessing there is some kind of command where I point the running config to go to the different location rather than the ipsdir directory.
