BRAH! Taking the Network + tommarrow. Super nervous
So I took my A+ back in 2007. I got 1 question wrong on both tests. I totally spanked that test.
Now, Being out of school for 3 years, I am going to take my Network + tomorrow.
The biggest things I have trouble with is the OSI model not knowing what each layer does. I always get them messed up. Also, what layer a protocol operates at.
Remembering distance that the medias can go is also hard.
I've been using Ucertify's Network+ quiz program. I get about 75% on the practice quizzes.
!BRAH!
Suggestions?

jamesleecoleman Member Posts: 1,899 ■■■■■□□□□□Just go over the stuff you're weak on. I know it's hard to understand the OSI model but when you get more into networking such as Cisco or Juniper, you'll start to understand the OSI better. The quiz program will give you an idea on what you need to work on.Booya!!

badboyeee Member Posts: 348if you spanked A+ with only 2 wrong i would think you'd be able to spank N+, but..
ahh exam tomorrow and still have trouble with the OSI model??!
i used this MC MCSE study guide to cram:
Free CompTIA Network+ Study Guide by MC MCSE
then hit professor messer's free N+ videos here:
Professor Messer's Free CompTIA Network+ Certification Training Course | Professor Messer - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Certification Training
I didn't watch them all but the videos are by domain so hit the areas you are weak at, thats what I did.
Hope that helps, good luck!2011 Certification Plans so far:
