pitviper Member Posts: 1,376 ■■■■■■■□□□I played around with this a bit at one point for funzies – From what I remember, you have to activate the STCAPP service and associate it with a CCM group (CME is fine). Then you put the voice port under CM control via a dial-peer:
dial-peer voice 100 pots
service stcapp
port 0/0/0
Then create the phantom ephone. You can find the dummy MAC address here:
#sh stcapp device summary
Total Devices: 2
Total Calls in Progress: 0
Total Call Legs in Use: 0
Port Device Device Call Dev Directory Dev
Identifier Name State State Type Number Cntl
----
0/0/0 AN260B1DFF80000 IS IDLE ALG 1020 CME
0/0/1 AN260B1DFF80001 IS IDLE ALG 1021 CME
So for voice-port 0/0/0, the dummy MAC address of the ephone would look like this:
ephone 9
device-security-mode none
mac-address 60B1.DFF8.0000
type anl
button 1:20
These 2 links should be enough info:

Good luck! If you get stuck post back and I'll try to build a quick config in the lab.CCNP:Collaboration, CCNP:R&S, CCNA:S, CCNA:V, CCNA, CCENT -
