A+ down, Security+ next
I got 856/823. Not too bad, but I probably overkilled with studying, I could have taken it much earlier.
I used Mike Meyer's book, Sybex book by Quentin Docter, watched Professor Messer videos and looked through Exam Cram by David L. Prowse in the local Barnes&Noble.
I was heavily tested on wireless networks in 701 and there were a bunch of questions on cmd commands in 702. But not a single ESD question in either!
I think I found an unfortunate typo in one of the questions from 701. It was about SATA transfer rate. I memorized those rates and I know the difference between MB/s and Mb/s, but apparently CompTIA forgot to capitalize that 'b' in the correct answer, because all other answers were not making any sense whatsoever.

Congrats! Well earned. For Sec+, grab:
Amazon.com: CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead: SY0-201 Study Guide (9781439236369): Darril Gibson: Books
This is the book for Sec+ SY0-201. -

I'll get Darril's book and I'm thinking about getting David L. Prowse's also:
Amazon.com: CompTIA Security+ SYO-201 Cert Guide (9780789747136): David L. Prowse: Books
It gets good reviews and I liked his Exam Cram book for A+.
One thing I learned is that it's always better to study from several sources at once. -

I follow the same philosophy. When I took my Sec+, I used nuggets and Darill's but in this particular case, I found that Darill's would have been enough to do well (I do have some prior experience with some of the objectives though).
