I always start my criticisms with a disclaimer
; I am in no way a professional resumé writer, hiring manager, or HR rep. Here's my 2 cents:
- I would fully list out all certifications so you catch all possible query types made from HR databases for x cert.
ex. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- I'd also say list the actual CIW cert you attained.
- I would put the education header below the professional experience header and maybe create a professional summary to capture your audience immediately with a quick glimpse of your work history and desire/abilities. I have heard and read it takes people between 7-30 seconds to determine whether they'll read the rest of the resumé.
- Elaborate "Worked with a team of programmers, marketing consultants, and web designers". The first bullet sums up the end result of your team work and ambition but I feel like "worked" could be substituted with "directed" or "led" (only if this was the case in this instance).
