I was trying to figure out how to do this, when I came up with the below solution:

Go to the web page of the hardcover of the book you are reading and get the total pages in the book.

Divide the total number of locations in the Kindle book by the total pages in the hardcover and you will get the average number of locations per page.

Then do 27.38 times the average number of locations to get locations per day you will need to read.

Now you can keep count for that as well in your reading for next year.
