New Network Warrior out in May 2011

in CCNA & CCENT
I was about to buy Donahues' 'Network Warrior' on amazon when I noticed there's a new one out in May, has anyone heard anything about this new release? Would it be worth waiting for the new one or should I just get the current edition?

I'd say get it now -- or at least keep an eye on the O'Reilly site for one of their eBook deals.
And then upgrade in May if you are working with the latest/greatest Cisco Technology like the Nexus 7000.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

Get a free trial on Safari Books Online and read it on your PC
Then when the new one comes out, buy the hard copy (or keep Safari and read it there, your choice)
And thanks for letting us know about it, that's a cool book and I've always wanted the actual book. Now I will wait until May. -

What a great book...i'm still reading the current version but i would love to see what topics they have expanded on. I use this book for troubleshooting all the time because it is written from the perspective of a Network Engineer that has to deal with day to day issues. It will stay on my bookshelf for years to come. I am using it as a primer to get started in my ROUTE studies for the CCNP.Cisco was my first networking love, but my "other" router is a Mikrotik... -

Parts of the NW book will seem noobish on first read, but if you take the time to read the whole thing you will find it worthwhile
And one of these days I will actually read the whole book, but after this thread I think I will wait until May -

If it is an updated edition I think I'll wait till May as well. No info on the authors website tho.
Wasn't sure if it was ok to post links to amazon.
I'm only a CCNA but I can see that being one of those books that will always stay on my desk all dogeared and full of post-it's. -

the last section of Network Warrior (the one on not being the IT jerk and how to deal with management) should be required reading for anyone entering an IT profession -
