Etherchannel between Fa and Gi ?

Hi Guys,

I was thinking, lets say we have 2 switches:
1st switch:
Fa0/1
Fa0/2 and we added them to a etherchannel group

2nd switch:
Gi0/1
Gi0/2 and add them to a etherchannel group

If we connect fa0/1 - >gi0/1 and fa0/2 -> gi0/2 will the etherchannel work ?
My guess is yes, but i couldn't find any info on this.
Thank you.

    Yes. It will do two 100Mbps links. The limitation is that you can't mix FE and GE links together in the same etherchannel.

    I'm currenty using fast ethernet interfaces on a 3560 and gigabit interfaces on a 3750G to perform layer 2 and 3 etherchannel without any issues. I don't need to hard code the speed to 100Mbps on the 3750G, it does that automatically.
