access list help needed
roonie
hi,
i am in need of help setting up an access list, i am trying to block tftp traffic to a tftp server.
router ip = 10.0.0.1
tftp server ip = 10.0.0.30
i want to block the router from sending configurations files to the server but still be able to ping it.
i did some research a i am aware that [FONT="]ACLs cannot filter traffic that the router itself originates.
so am wondering is there away to do this?
thanks

Does the TFTP server have a firewall or the TFTP software have an ACL type access limitation option?
