replace 2950-T with what?

hey guys what do you think a good replacement switch for a 2950-T would be. We use it for a DMZ/LAN switch.

what a 2960 something????

    We are using multiple 2960G-48TC's for our DMZ

    I would say it depends on what the current utilization of the switch. If it's not being over utilized much then I'd replace with a normal 2960.

    If you need a beefier switch maybe a 35xx which also offers L3 functionality.

    In our production network we always run L3 switching, so that in the event of a router failure, or brief downtime, the switch can handle failover routing between local machines.
