MCTS / MCITP on Windows 2008 General
I thought there were 4 exams required for MCITP:SA
CodeBlox
Yet I only see three:
Exam 70-640
Exam 70-642
Exam 70-646
why is that?

No it only requires 3, but doing a client exam like 70-680 might be advisable. At least you would have it done if you wanted to go for MCITP:EA.

One thing to keep in mind the new MCITP certifications are mapped to a specific job role. In this case MS considers a server admin would be doing mostly server work, not client PC work - which is covered by the support and desktop admin certifications. If your job encompasses several roles you might be advised to get those in addition to the SA. Enterprise Admin requires a client exam because that role includes, at least at a design level, deployement of group policy and client OS.
