Sp3?

I've got an XP VM set up with SP2, which is what my MCDST study books are based on. Are the exams covering SP3 now?

SP3 was just a rollup of various updates whereas SP2 changed substantial parts of the OS such as the firewall etc. If you have SP3 installed it shouldn't make a huge difference.

The exams will never cover SP3. SP3, as mentioned by Asif, was not a huge change. Since these exams are being retired, it would not be cost effective to update the exams even for the more important changes of SP3.

Thanks, guys. I won't worry about it then.

My concern was that I could imagine questions that assumed the presence of SP3 things like WPA2 or cryptographic module SHA2 updates, and which could lead to a correct answer being "wrong".
