Cisco anyconnect certificate issue

We have the anyconnect client installed on our windows xp and 7 laptops that are 32bit. When lauching the anyconnect program it would usually select the cert from the certificates (current user)\personal\certificates (<-mmc location)as there is usually only 1 cert in there. Now that we are deploying microsoft lync there is now another cert in there as well. The issue is it is selecting the new cert which is not valid for the vpn connection. Is there a way to have the anyconnect client use a specific cert everytime its launched? Such as a a command in the preferences.xml file that tells it which cert to use.
