SNIA - worth it?

I am certified in quite a few areas but a lot of job offers require specific SAN certification, especially for virtualisation roles.

It almost seems impossible to get the perfect one. Some want EMC, some EVA, some NetApp and so on.

SNIA is apparently vendor neutral - but is there any value in it? Are these known in the industry (specifically Europe) ?

Im not sure about Europe, but as you said, it's a proof that you have some SAN knowledge, at least on the conceptual level. Best SAN certs would be vendor certs, but you can get them after a vendor training/experience.
