HDI Cert Materials??

I was looking at and am interested in the HDI certifications, possibly the Support Center Manager one, and I was unable to locate any real books/resources for the material, other than the standards listed on HDI's web site..
Do you guys know of any study materials that exist for these? It looks like most people probably go for the training, but i'd rather not spend the $1,800 on that. I'd rather buy a book and self study and take the exam..
