Cisco has a certification program that combines VMware skills and UCS infrastructure skills. I find very little information on this, most people focus on the telecom side of Cisco. Has anybody looked into this program?

A buddy of mine did it. He works for a large managed services provider. He said he enjoyed doing the cert. -

QHalo Member Posts: 1,488The hardware is pretty expensive still. You almost have to work for a partner to get any experience is what it seems like to me. And yes, VCP is needed to complete the data center exams certs pertaining to this hardware. This is a path that has always interested me.

kalebksp Member Posts: 1,033 ■■■■■□□□□□I took and passed the UCS exam, which was actually pretty easy. I don't have the cert though because I don't have experience with FWSM, NAM, Nexus 7K, or MDS.
