Value of Convergence+

I have not seen a whole of lot interest in this certification. Is there really any value to it? According to the course objective, it seems like something I could definitely learn a lot from. Is there a recommended training material for this certification?

I'm looking for a Convergence+ equivalent to Darril Gibson's Security+ book. A great resource professional and for the certificaion.

Thanks. (=

I think the only value is if you work/operate a converged network. It is a good primer for CCNA Voice or other voice certification tracks.

The Sybex is like the only decent book. The official ILT book is okay. It just missing a lot of information.

My best advice is to look at the exam objectives. There are questions on proxies in the exam, and they're not covered too in detail in each book.
