SDM won't work

in CCNA & CCENT
I have sdm 2.5 on my pc running xp and java 6. when I log into my router I get a page with javascript code. Do I need to downgrade my java? If so I can't find an older version anywhere.

A simple google search would have provided the solution. You will want a lower ver of Java 6. Some say anything 12 and under. I use update 2. You will also need to set some settings within IE.

Thanks for the help. Works perfect now. I did google it before I posted, which lead me to believe I have the wrong version of java. I just couldn't figure out which version I needed. So thanks again for the help here at the forum I'd been fighting this sdm issue for a few days.
