the attached example does not appear to be right:
shouldn't the SM be 255.255.240 ?

    Yes it should be 255.255.240.0 for a /20.

    Looks like it's off by an octect.
    Maybe the image is flawed?
    You are correct , a /20 netmask looks like 255.255.240.0
    255.255.255.240 would be /28

    No its not an image problem, I just took the practice exam and it was part of the question, I'll turn it in to Labsim.

    When I did my LabSim for 70-680 - sometimes it listed a question, then some data, then another question , then 4 answers. So not knowing which question it was really asking..

    Some of their presentations have issues too...

    thats the first issue I have had with their product, the little I ahve seen about them on this site seems negative but overall I have found it helpful in addition to other methods
