vizio v. lg

thinking of getting a small led lcdtv (22-26")for my kitchen...will hang on wall. will be watching from 5-7"

i understand vizio has grown in popularity...but dont know much about their reliability/quality.

lg cost about $40-60 more for comparable model.

any thoughts are appreciated.

I've never owned either. I"m a big fan of Samsung televisions.

Vizio is fine, lg a little bit better screen if you ask me

I need to do some googling but there are some home theater sites that talk about different flat panel televisions. What I remember reading on some of their forums is that some of the Wall Mart/ Target televisions that seem to only be sold there have the same display panels as the more expensive Samsung, Toshiba, Panasonic what ever. The forums were matching up model numbers with panel numbers so you could figure out what lower priced Wallmart television had the same panel as the more expensive name brand models. Usually the Wall Mart tv will lack all the extra menu features but the display is the same.

Have 2 vizio TVs (42 and 32) for the last 2 years. Paid far less than any brands mentioned in this thread. Very satisfied.
