ive been in computer operations for 15 yrs and my last job was on
a unisys and there isnt much call for unisys computer operators.
all ive seen lately is as400 and they want experience on that specific
system. so.... i was wondering if anyone heard of a tech school
that has an operator program

it cant be that hard to find something in orlando.
It seems that colleges have forgotten about the meat and potatoes
basics with something as simple as operations and are pushing the more glamourous networking and programming material.
there are a ton of as400 operator jobs out there that seem to go begging
and its really frustrating me to the point of changing careers.
i could get unisys operator jobs if i moved to the frozen tundra of
albany new york but who the hell wants to live there.
if anyone else is interested in as400 schools the closest thing ive
found to any sort of schools is

maybe there is something at that website that ive missed
i do enjoy computer operations and would like to stay in the field.
The plusses to op's are....you dont have to deal with those pesky users much and your pretty much left alone to do your thing.
