I got a free 3500xl (can upgrade IOS?)

in CCNP
is a 3500xl just a paperweight?

I have been trying to enter command but just get errors. It worked fine for CCNA level command but now working on CCNP seem to not work.

Is their any know fix's for these guys can I flash a 3640, & a 3660 IOS could I put that in or would that brick it?

    what commands are you trying to put in? At CCNP level you would want a few 2950 EI switches. I got a 2900XL under my bed, it was no use to me even in the CCNA days.

    radius server host 192.168.7.7 key rad111
    aaa authentication dot1x default group radius

    the above will work on my 2950

    and packet tracer I can do some commands, then some other commands I can use a GNS3 router,
    it is a drag to use 3 different methods and none are really very good for switch commands

    so you say you have some 2950's under you bed that you don't need? What else you got under their?

    I just got a 3548 xl IOS downloading from cisco, I am going to see it that IOS work, I guess.
