Tracert question
When I run tracert from my laptop (with a wireless nic) to my desktop (with wired nic), the result is the following:
"F:\WINDOWXP\system32>tracert 192.168.1.150
Tracing route to 192.168.1.150 over a maximum of 30 hops
1 2 ms 2 ms 2 ms 192.168.1.150
Trace complete."
My question is: why doesn't it show the router which it passes through? Is it because it is on the same network? Or,is it because it is not really a stand-alone router but rather a combo DSL modem/router? Or, none of the above?
