I have two Cisco 3550s. One of them has the Layer 3 image and one has the Layer 2 image. The one with the Layer 3 image has a bad power supply. Would I be able to take the Layer 3 image and put it on the other 3550 that is currently running the Layer 2 image. Or is this a violation of the license etc? If that is the case would I simply need to purchase the Layer 3 image separately from Cisco?
