what equipments should i need for T1 Internet connection?

Normally, usually, analog phone lines are used to provide Internet by DSL or taking advantage of cable modems. However, i heard of T1 leased lines also could be able to do same thing. But i wonder how? Think that there is no WIC or modems only T1 line.
That time, what equipment else should i need to establish Internet connection across T1 line?

5 year-old laptop PC specs(Toshiba Satellite A210) : AMD Athlon 64 x2 1.9 GHz CPU, ATI Radeon X1200 128 MB Video Memory graphics card, 3072 MB 667 Mhz DDR2 RAM. (1 stick 2 gigabytes and 1 stick 1 gigabytes)

You need a dsu\csu WIC card. Back in the day they also used a serial connection to a external dsu\csu box. Either one then plugs into the line given to you by the lease provider.Currently reading: Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action
