Question about Logon To options on client machine
ElvisG
I was doing a Exchange lab with 2 separate domains that have a 2-way forest trust. I'm just curious but how do you get rid of one of the domain names showing up as a option to login to from a client machine? This makes no sense to me since the the client can not login in to 2 domains.

Not sure if there's a way to suppress the additional domains from showing in the logon (options) box. Perhaps group policy setting to restrict the domain info -- possibly in same section where the option to hide the last logged on user name is.
But, if you didn't want to allow the users from one domain (forest) the ability to access resources (log on to computers) in the other domain (forest), why set up the 2-way forest trust?

The lab steps said to do it when I was setting up AD. I guess I could delete the trust and see if Exchange still works. I'm new to setting up Exchange so I didn't know if Exchange required a trust to send e-mails between domains in a private LAN.
