I'm currently sitting here with the Linux+ Complete book - if for no other reason than it had a newer printing date than the Bible does (by almost 10 years). It's a decent read - a little dry but the subject of Linux command line is not for the faint of heart.
I'd stay away from the Mike Meyers passport book as Michael Jang takes too many jabs at other OS's and the dated objectives in it to really make it a smooth read, and the other book I would suggest is the LPI Linux in a nutshell. Those two books are probably the most up to date in terms of meeting the current objectives.
