How Do I Uninstall Vmware Workstation

Hello guys,

I used to have VMware workstation 5.5.1 on my vista laptop,I have since upgraded to Windows 7 ultimate and have tried to uninstall the VMware via add/remove in control panel and even ccleaner uninstaller but it keeps giving BSOD.

Can someone tell me in non technical terms how to get rid of this application without corrupting my OS?

PS-I have tried google and no clear solution for me yet. Thanks.

No, I haven't tried to do that,but I know it will prompt for me to uninstall the previous installation.
