70-272 Book/Media

I can't seem to find Microsoft's MCDST 70-272 book very easily. AFAIK, the book comes with XP SP2 and Office Pro 2003. Is there much difference between 2003 and 2007 as I have Office 2007? I also have Office 2000 somewhere.

I assume it's pointless buying this book used as the CD will have expired. I was going to try Safari Books online but I think that will only give me access to the ebook and the test software possibly.

ive heard that the book is close to impossible to find in the UK.
sorry. maybe find and order a cheaper international version from india/china?

i found this but it looks steep on price for a 6 year old book.

Yep, I tried Amazon but the only new one is from a Marketplace Seller in the UK who doesn't ship outside the UK. The best I have found so far is an International version on abebooks from the USA

I guess they're not publishing the Book anymore with the 70-272 retiring in June and that's why it's so hard to find New. I'll just have to keep looking.

i would get the international version. i had done some emailing to a few of the sellers on abe books. and they assured me it is the indian version of the book that matches the uk and usa version. A plus to this is that it is paperback. Dont worry when they say its black and white, because the usa version is as well.

for my psychology class, im using a brand new international version that i paid $35 shipped. whereas in the college bookstore its 130-150 used. They are exactly the same and i have done a comparision side by side. its so cool.

Thanks Cisco Inferno. Okay, so the International version is pretty much the same as Standard but maybe not intended for the USA market. Now that I think of it, I think I had a Physics book in College that was International and it was a liitle different than the hugely expensive one in the College Library but mostly the same.

Would it be a good idea to buy the 70-272 used and use Office 2000 to do any Office related tasks? I already have the Xp Cd from the 70-271 book.

i would stick with office 2003.
