The Road Back

It's been a long time since I've taken a certification exam. I used to have quite a few under my belt, back in the late 90's when the boom really, well, boomed. I had all the NT certs, Win95, Networking Essentials, TCP/IP, etc. I still have my A+ from those days, though I understand anyone taking the new A+ certs will need to re-certify every few years.
I was out of the industry for awhile, personal issues and such, but I've been back since 2009. I'm beginning the path back to certification to, hopefully, increase my knowledge (and worth), and make a move from infrastructure support to administration, eventually to management.
For starters, I'd like to augment my existing skills while deciding on a particular area in which I'd like to concentrate. My path as I see it now is:
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician
- 70-680: Windows 7, Configuring
- 70-685: Pro Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician
MCITP: Server Administrator
- 70-640: Windows 2008 Active Directory Configuring
- 70-642: Windows 2008 Network Infrastructure & Configuration
- 70-646: Pro Windows 2008 Server Administrator
I'm also considering adding the MCITP Enterprise Messaging Admin, as I've always had a soft spot for Exchange server. But, I don't want to get in over my head just yet.
That's my plan at any rate.

I'll probably add Network+ to the list too, as I see no logical reason why I shouldn't have it. -
