default route in Windows 7
I have a lab network and an internet connected network. I prefer to keep the two separate, but if I plug my Windows 7 computer up to the lab network, it starts trying to route all of my internet traffic to the lab network.
Lab network = 10.0.0.0 /8
Home network = 192.168.1.0 /24
Edit: More logical alternate solution?
I'm thinking about just connecting my lab to the home LAN and setting a default route in the Lab to the internet connected router. Would that make more sense than mucking around in windows? Seems like it would be a pain in the rear having to mess with the default route in an OS when the computer could be connected to so many different networks.

Pinging 4.4.4.4 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Reply from 10.0.0.50: Destination host unreachable. Reply from 10.0.0.50: Destination host unreachable. Reply from 10.0.0.50: Destination host unreachable.I could use the route command to fix this, but how do I do it so that I don't have to worry about not being able to get on the internet from OTHER networks (e.g. when I use my computer at school and they're not using the 192.168.1.0 network).

+1 for the likely cause here. You should configure the lab NIC to not have a DFG. -

no default-router
